Before i forgot, let me just start 'documenting' what ever i learnt from every fencing training. i know it wont make sense for any of my faithful readers (LOL....loba!! hahaha...mcm lah ada tek nak!), but this is just to improve my fencing, i really want to be better before i go back to Malaysia for good next year.
Feb 14th, 2012.
- small-clean-nice forward footwork.
- now i noticed that their backward/forward footwork is beautiful 'cos their back foot tend to tip-toed and their heels are lifted while moving.
- need to improve on that launching; without front foot touching the ground when taking it back to re-launch.
- start thinking and focusing on the pointers!!
- a bit and a parry is two, completely different things.
- when launching, blade first then only the foot jumps in. if u r a right-handed, when launching, swing ur left hand backwards to increase the acceleration, weight and force.
- bit/parry then riposte.
- extend blade, small circular parry, then clean launch.
- bit, extend blade, small circular parry, then clean launch.
- (opponent launch), bit, extend blade, (opponent tries to parry-riposte), bit again, then clean launch.
that's just it for now. hope to learn new things next week.
p/s: why am i not this enthusiastic when it comes to studying??? -_- i guess i should start doing this kind of thing as well with my studies. let you guys pening2 lalat reading all the medical terms and drugs and bacteria and diseases etc etc etc. hahaha....
