Earthquake

So there was another earthquake of 8.6 magnitude in Aceh. And there goes people in Twitter, Facebook, reporting this and that, with many hash tags about this current natural disaster. I just can't help it but feel how ironic this whole thing is. Just as the panic spreads, we went into great fear, fear that the earthquake will cause tsunami that might hit our coastline. Fear it might cause yet another disastrous death like the one that happened few years back. Fear that this might be the last day of our life. And there we go tweeting around "pray for us", "pray for Aceh", "this is warning from God", etc.

BUT. ask ourselves. did we feel that much fear as we commit sins? did we even think of the life hereafter when we were so happy enjoying what ever it is that is forbidden?

Everyday after our prayer, we ask for husnul khatimah. But what did we do to get it? Can our deeds save us from hell? Think.

Sik guna la kita pungpang pungpang pasal tsunami, how we are grateful tempat kita sik kenak tsunami, pungpang pungpang tweet suruh berdoa, tapi dirik kita tok is like the opposite of what we are preaching. Bila malam tiba, berjimba sik ingat dunia sampe ke pagi, ekot gilak lah perangei org Barat, yang bagus yang dipuja semua lah Barat, yang jaik yang kuno semua lah Timur, lupak budaya lupak adat lupak adab kita sebagai Melayu, anok org sana sini tapi sik sedar ludah ya melancit ke muka dirik pun, sik ingat yang Malaikat setiap masa mencatat perbuatan kita.

This kind of people just make me wanna puke and go eff-ing around (pardon me for the bad word, tapi i can't take it lah. meluat gila). Aku paling sik dpt terimak org bermuka-muka tok. Seriously, walk the talk. People can go around giving us advises, but if we refuse to take the good side of it, there's no point. Membazir aek liur jak kelaie ngan ktk org. It all depends on our own self-awareness. Umur tua pun sik guna mun sik dapat nak pikir ne bagus ne jaik.

This is a reminder for myself as well.
