So today i joined the open UCD Intermediates competition. If you are rajin enough, check out the videos of me in action!
This one's a match against the girl who made it to final, not quite sure if she wins. i won this match 5-4, but lost to her 5-1 in the 2nd poule.

The next one is still in poule 1, against Sophie from UCD team as well. Im on the left side of the piste, and as you can see i am vertically challenged. LOL. Won 5-4 in this 1st poule match, but lost to her in the 2nd poule; which i don't remember the score.
i have a problem with the foil im using since the very beginning. The handle (i think) is loose, i was stopped a few times in every match to get it tightened; 'cos if not it won't detect my point when i attack. i seriously need to get my own gears, it's so hard to pinjam here and there and not knowing what's wrong with it when that thing buat hal in the middle of the game.
This is another match in poule 1 which i lost 3-5. That girl is young (i think macam budak sekolah rendah), but she's so damn good! Her attacks are precise and sharp. There's also another girl from the same team.
There were another 5 matches which were not recorded. Doesn't matter, cos i lost all the 4 matches in the 2nd poule. Im loosing my focus in the 2nd poule. And maybe a little bit scared and hungry. Haha. Thanks to Alia who helped me to record the videos!
Then we had the DE round, which i lost to Ciara from DUFC. The score was 7-15. It was in this round that i got a yellow card because my lamé jacket was not functioning. So i had to change it. Never ending gear problem :(
Anyway, it was a great experience and definitely a great exposure before Schull in November. Looking at the videos, i think i've improved since last year, but not by much. im a very bebal learner. Sobs
i think my breeches is a bit too tight, i feel like wearing a corset -_-
