End of Week 1. Serabut jugak nak membiasakan diri dengan kesibukan tahun klinikal. By 8am terpacak di hospital, ada kalanya lecturer doctor suruh dtg 6.45am. Then petang ada kelas/tutorial. Malam nya antara penat badan dan mata yang mengantuk, harus digagahi jua untuk prepare otak for kelas/tutorial/bedside teaching esoknya. i freakin need my daily 8-hours of sleep! T_T
Tapi sesungguhnya ada lagi orang yg lebih sengsara. In this case, the houseman officers. Kecut perut tgk HO kena maki kena marah dgn doktor. Hanya mampu terkebil-kebil dan berlalu pergi sebab takut kena marah sekali.
As scary as i made it sound, things actually get even more interesting by day. Biasalah, dah kena marah baru boleh ingat betul2. You get to see patients in clinics, in wards, observe operation in OT etc. Andddd having so many handsome charming young doctors in the hospital membuat hari-hari bertambah ceria bahahaha!! If i ever get bored or sleepy, mencuci mata adalah senaman biasa. Ok miang. Lols. Tapi baru kena sergah sikit dah kecut perut padan muka.
Anyway, back to the point. Medicine is indeed an interesting branch if we view it correctly. My urology lecturer refers himself as a 'plumber' who fix any obstructed urinary tracts. My orthopedic lecturer on the other hand regards herself as a 'carpenter' who connect broken pieces back to one. Funny, but very true indeed! Haha
On a completely different note, i woke up this morning with a thought: we are not necessarily wrong when people disapprove our point. Most of the time people will hate us for saying what is right/true. People have the choice to accept/argue/refuse, what ever their choice is - that is not our problem as long as we've said what we want to say. Tolerating is one good thing, but don't lose who we are just because we want to blend in and to be accepted by the majority or because people disapprove you. Most importantly, don't admit to something you didn't (meant to) do/say just because you feel bad that things turn out wrongly; something i need to teach myself more. We will never be able to please everyone so why bother trying? So just stick to our own beliefs and be more heartless.
Crap. i hate it when i think too much and it gives me headache.
handsome drs!~ aaaa cant wait to go to the clinical world :P
