i have a good friend name T. dia seorg lelaki. T kini belajar di UTeM. we were classmates back then. dan dia bukan seorg Muslim. but that fact never really bother me and the rest. we are good friends, that's what important and nothing else matter! :)
hari ini hari raya Aidiladha. T masak nasik impit, kuah kacang, mi goreng, cheese cake n mashed potato utk housemate2 nya yg beragama Islam bagi menghilangkan kesedihan mereka beraya jauh dari keluarga. when they 1st moved to the house they live now, his Muslim housemates decided to organize a 'doa selamat' event. so while the others are reciting the dua' he was in the kitchen cooking meals for them :) masa my open house last raya, he was also there to help dari pagi sampe malam. bebasok tapak mangkok periuk belangak. where in the world can u find a friend like this?
cuba kita (ummat Islam) analisa balit, when we were all away from our family, ada sik kita nulong kawan2 Chinese bemasak time CNY? ada sik kita nulong kawan2 Indian bemasak time Deepavali? ada sik kita nulong kawan2 Iban kita bemasak time Hari Gawai? i honestly didn't. and im not proud of that.
what im trying to say is, nowadays, sukar untuk kita jumpa situasi di mana perbezaan agama langsung tidak timbul. di mana kita bergaul tanpa mengira apa bangsa dan agama kita. sekda lah nangga kelompok sana org Islam, kelompok situ bukan Islam. and bila nak buat apa2 acara, pasti timbul masalah bila memikirkan perbezaan fahaman agama. padahal the KEY element is to accept and respect each other's differences. when we r able to grasp that concept then only we can avoid disputes.
im proud to say i have friends who don't make a big deal out of our cultural differences. we are the same. kami bergaul seolah2 kami tiada apa2 perbezaan. which is why i always love to be back home :) rindu ktk org semua!
bila memikirkan rakan2 yg sangat lah baik budi pekertinya mengalahkan orang2 Islam yg lain, teringat dengan hadith logam riwayat Bukhari dan Muslim:
"Manusia seperti logam, terpilihnya mereka semasa jahiliyyah terpilih juga mereka semasa Islam, sekiranya mereka faham."
i would comment no further. i love my friends. i'll pray for everyone :)
huhuhu..thanks bem for this..
ReplyDeletefor me, those things really ddnt count in any relationship (sikap memilih bulu, berasa ada batas n blablabla...) apa y pnting, how we accept, respect and practise the concept of unity... x kesah lah apa bansa, agama pn.. i accept anything around me & i'm really grateful for living this life & having all of u..
