Pure Kindness

Yesterday i went to UNIMAS (again) to meet Puan Zuraidah Abas to discuss if MDK (Misi Dakwah dan Kemanusiaan) volunteers can stay there during our oncoming programme at Kg Lubok Buntin. But she is still not around so i just left the letter there. i think i can get around UNIMAS all by myself without getting lost now, kotan selalu gilak dah turun nait sia. Del siap embak pegi bilit lecturer lagik. hah.

But that's not what i wanna talk about. Before heading to HEP Building to send the letter, we met Kak Piah sebab Del told her about us (MDK volunteers) going to Kg Lubok Buntin, which is prolly somewhere in Narnia since i cant find it on google map. Kak Piah who's been there, was a bit surprised that we wanted to stay in UNIMAS because UNIMAS-Kg Lubok Buntin is quite a journey.

She explained to me how we can get there and even offered to accompany us to try the ferry service, which in total is about 4 hours to and fro journey. She even called many people who could (maybe) help us. Then we head from FEB - Faculty of Economics and Business  to CAIS - Centre for Academic Information Services (now i even know the faculties and whereabouts they are!) to meet Encik Wan Jamaludin, a friend of Kak Piah who works in CAIS. Encik Wan drew me a map of the shortest route to Kg. Lubok Buntin, which is about +/- 1 hour drive from UITM Kota Samarahan. 

Then Kak Piah offered to accompany us to survey Kg Lubok Buntin since it's not that far away from UNIMAS. i told her im not confident to drive there (my mom would kill me if she knows i drove her car dekat jalan berbatu-batu since that place is a bit remote). She offered to drive us there with her Kelisa but i declined. Yeah i don't really like to susahkan org, apatah lagik i just kenal Kak Piah that day itself.

The thing is, her kindness really inspires me. She just met me but she is willing to help up to that extend. If i were here, i think my effort would be just up to telling on how to get there. Sik sampe pun nak embak jumpa Encik Wan. Sik sampe pun nak teman pergi survey tempat ya, dah lah jauh. 

Before this, i never believe such kind person like her exist. i always have this belief that there is always a reason why a person is so nice to you. It's either she/he wants sth from you, or it could have been for invisible mutual benefit like in friendship. But Kak Piah is just a pure kind-hearted woman. No wonder she still looks so young like she is in her twenties though she is nearing 40. 

Let's do good to others dengan ikhlas, without hoping a return. And niat Lillahi Taala :)
