See that ad above? Looks familiar right? Except that it has different content.
That 'ohmytajwid' ad is originally from 'ohmyenglish' ad.
No im not trying to say that learning English is more important than learning Tajwid.
But personally, when i see someone posted this on facebook, i was a bit upset.
You don't have to slash other people's ad to make your cause looks good.
When i see that 'English' word got crossed like that, it kinda gives me a message this person is trying to say that learning English isn't that important and that Muslims should focus on learning Tajwid only.
It is nonetheless very true that as Muslims we should always make effort to improve our tajwid for misreading of the Quran will lead to different and maybe misleading meaning.
If we are trying to spread da'wah asking people to improve their tajwid, be creative and come up with a catchy ad instead of slashing other people's ad, especially when that people themselves are actually promoting a good cause. In this case, to improve English, as it is the international language at the moment.
This is not the only 'slashing ad' that i've come across, there are quite a few more.

Islam never taught us to make other people look bad in order to show our goodness.
Reflect.
